THE JOURNEY

START IT

MAKE THE DECISION.

Choose to take Jewish learning seriously and commit to the journey. You don't need to start with everything. You just need to start with something.

MASTER IT

A TIMELESS JEWISH TEXT.

Eight months. One commitment. Go beyond attending another class. Learn deeply enough to make a piece of Jewish wisdom genuinely yours.

CELEBRATE IT

NEW YORK. JUNE 2027.

You didn't just participate. You finished. Come together with the Global Class of '27 for an extraordinary weekend in New York celebrating what you — and thousands of others — have achieved.

own IT

THE LEARNING. THE ACHIEVEMENT. YOUR PLACE IN THE JEWISH STORY.

Jewish learning isn't something remote, closed or meant for someone else. It belongs to you too.

THE GRADUATION WEEKEND

You mastered it. Now come celebrate it.

YOU EARNED THIS.
Thousands of students. One graduating class. One night to celebrate what you accomplished. Thursday night is the Olami Masters graduation celebration — the moment when individual commitments from around the world come together in one room. This is your finish line.

FROM GLOBAL CLASS TO JEWISH COMMUNITY.
You'll be welcomed into Jewish communities across New York for Shabbat meals, hospitality, conversation and connection. Because Jewish learning doesn't end when you close the book. It lives around tables, inside communities and in the relationships between people.

BECOME PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER.
You'll join 95,000 Jews at MetLife stadium who are celebrating the completion of learning the entire gemara. Your achievement becomes part of a tradition spanning generations. Because a siyum isn't simply the end of learning. It's the celebration of what learning makes possible

For thousands of years, someone turned the next page

Someone asked the question.
Someone stayed with the text.
Someone finished what they began.
And someone handed it on.

It was never power alone that kept the Jewish people.
It was also the learning.
Olami Masters is your opportunity to become part of that story — not as a spectator, but as someone who chose to engage with it.

In a world that makes it easy to drift, choose depth.

In a world that often devalues Judaism, choose to stand for it.

Achieve something that matters.

Own your place in the Jewish story.

FAQs

about the learning

Olami Masters is a seven-month international course for those looking to take greater ownership of their Judaism. You enroll with your local chapter, learn a specific text from start to finish, and graduate alongside students from around the world at a graduation weekend in New York, Thursday to Sunday, June 3–6, 2027.

Olami Masters is by invitation only, through participating local Olami chapters. It’s open to current Olami students and young professionals, and you don’t need to have studied Judaism before. If you’d like to take part, ask your Olami educator whether your chapter is participating.

No. Olami Masters isn't about how much you already know. It's about deciding to take something on and seeing it through. Every track is taught at a level that works for the students in your group.

No. All the learning is in your native language, using texts with full translation. Any Hebrew words or ideas that come up will be explained along the way. Many students are reading these texts for the first time, and that’s exactly where this program meets you.

There are three tracks:

  • Torah Track: The Book of Genesis (Bereishit). The first book of the Bible, from Creation to Abraham, Sarah and the founding families of the Jewish people.
  • Talmud Track: Tractate Berachot (Blessings), Chapter 4. Step inside the Talmud, where every answer leads to a better question. Explore prayer – when, why and how – and learn to question and argue like the rabbis.
  • Mishnah Track: Ethics of Our Fathers (Pirkei Avot). Short, practical teachings on how to live a meaningful life.

Your Olami educator has already chosen the track your group will learn together. Depending on the track, the course runs for 10 or 16 sessions. Whichever track you’re on, you’ll be challenged and inspired, and will build a real foundation in Jewish learning.

Your local Olami educator will learn together with you, following an international syllabus. Students around the world learn the same material, so the Class of '27 works through it together – then celebrates together!

The Masters curriculum is designed to run from November 2026 to May 2027, with graduation in June 2027. Depending on your track, your group will meet for 10 or 16 sessions over that time.

Your educator will set the schedule for your group, and the full calendar will be shared as soon as possible.

We hope you Master the full curriculum – you will feel so accomplished! If you have a scheduling conflict for a particular session, please discuss directly with your educator, who can help you catch up and finish together with the group.

Yes. The Class of '27 is capped at 1,500 students worldwide, and enrollment closes on December 1, 2026.

finishing and graduating

Congratulations! You are a Master! You’ll receive your hard-earned Olami Masters certificate of completion, and you're invited to graduate with the Class of '27 in New York.

The Hebrew word siyum literally means “completion.” A siyum is the celebration held when someone finishes learning a section of Torah. The Siyum HaShas marks the completion of the entire Talmud by learners around the world, a cycle that takes seven and a half years. In June 2027, tens of thousands of people will gather at MetLife Stadium to celebrate it. As an Olami Masters graduate, you will be there celebrating a siyum of your own!

Yes. The graduation weekend is for students who complete their track.

the graduation weekend in new york

Thursday to Sunday, June 3–6, 2027, in the New York metro area.

You will be one of 1,500 Olami Masters graduates from around the world, including Canada, the United States, Europe, Australia, South Africa, Russia and Latin America, along with host communities, educators, and the wider Jewish community.

Olami covers all food, accommodation, activities and transportation during the weekend. Fees, flight stipends and other travel costs vary by region, so please discuss them directly with your local Olami chapter and educator.

The Olami Masters program is designed to introduce you to the New York/New Jersey Jewish community. To that end, every graduate will be welcomed by a local community member who has graciously opened their home to invite you for Shabbat. And of course, your host community will be there to celebrate your accomplishment with you.

International participants need a passport that is valid for at least six months after the trip. We will be in touch nearer the time with visa/ESTA guidance. The cost of applying for relevant visas is not covered by Olami.
